Gingerbread House

As 2011 comes to an end, I have to confess this year was one of the craziest years of my life. I felt like I was running a marathon the whole time, and, worse than that, I felt like I was constantly falling behind…  I really hope 2012 will bring me some peace. Perhaps I can even dream of accomplishing some personal goals…

I just realized this is my last blog post of 2011 and I certainly hope in 2012 I’ll find more time to blog. I do enjoy sharing some of the things we do as a family, and things we do during our homeschooling, with family and friends. When I write, I often think of those family members living far away who we don’t get to see for many, many  years. Having a blog is my way of keeping in touch and of showing how much I care about them.

And so, let us keep our hopes high for this coming year!

For everyone reading this post, I wish you a wonderful New Year! Lots of blessings and lots of love for you and all those you love!

Below, some pics of the kids making a gingerbread house. They made it a few days before Christmas and they had a great time doing it. (Now, they are anxiously waiting for the holiday season to be over so they can eat the candy and the house!)

A big hug from all of us!
