Pumpkins, pumpkins…

Time is going by so fast and we’ve been so busy… homeschooling, karate, acting class, robotics, tennis, gymnastics… quite a lot of activities…  No wonder it has been a while since I last posted on this blog. Certainly, I have a lot to share, and I plan on doing it this coming week. Right now, I’d just like to post some cute pictures we took on our trip to the pumpkin patch. We go there every year in the last week of October. This is already a tradition. The kids love to run around among the thousands of pumpkins … They also love walking on the corn maze and going to the petting zoo.

Usually, they wear their Halloween costume. This year, Nick decided he wanted to be a black ninja. Dani couldn’t make up her mind, and so she wasn’t wearing any costume (later she decided to be a ballerina.)

It turned out our “black ninja” wasn’t that good at pushing the wheelbarrow…

Almost at the end of our field trip, they paused for a picture in front of the corn maze. Notice Dani is wearing her Havaianas flip-flops, her favorite sandals. Now that the weather is much cooler, I hide the flip-flops so she has to choose between wearing sneakers or one of her many pairs of (mostly) hand-me-down boots.
